Veterans Sharing Experiences

February 9, 2013

1 Day

The New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial Foundation is initiating an opportunity for the public to hear from our veterans, first hand, about their experiences during the service of our country. This event will be held in the  New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial Event Center from 10:00am – 11:00am on the second Saturday of each month.

The first in this series of presentations of personal experiences will be on February 9, 2013. We are honored to have Mr. Charlie Brown, Chief (USN Ret.), who will share his experiences as a submariner in WWII.

In the following months, the Foundation plans to have veterans speak about their experiences on major campaigns and/or battles of WWII (in Europe and the Pacific), Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf War. Admission is free, however donations to the Foundation are always appreciated.
