Veterans SharingExperiences

The New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial Foundation announces the second of the Veterans Presentation Series to be held on March 9, 2013 at the New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial. We are honored to have Mr. Bill Toledo, a Navajo Code Talker, who will share his experiences during WWII.

This series offers an opportunity for the public to hear from our veterans, first hand, about their experiences during the service of our country.  This event is held on the second Saturday of each month beginning at 10 AM in the Event Center at the New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial park, 1100 Louisiana SE, Albuquerque, NM.

In the following months, the Foundation plans to have veterans speak about their experiences on major campaigns and/or battles of WWII (in Europe and the Pacific), Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf War.  Admission is free; however donations to the Foundations are always appreciated.
